Thurs 14th March !
Due to the weather on Thursday, we are unfortunately not going to go to Karkarook Park this week.
Instead we will be going to the amazing 5th/6th Central Moorabbin Scout Hall!!!
The entire group is invited for this thrilling night and we hope you bring along a friend so they can join in the fun.
This date is of no importance and there is no reason to bully a specific leader about anything in particular. This leader hates cakes and is afraid of surprises so please be nice.
When: 7-9pm – Thurs 14th of March
Drop off and pick up: 5th/6th Central Moorabbin hall
BRING A FRIEND
We announced that there will be another bring a friend prize of $200 towards anything within 5th/6th. Whether you want the money to go towards your Jamboree fee or a 5th/6th hoodie. This will be running for 6 months and the youth member with the most friends to have joined Scouting at 5th/6th will receive the prize.
Congrats to Sidney and Hili who won our last bring a friend prize!!
Remember to BRING A FRIEND each week to show them how cool Scouting can be!!
Mon 18th March [GROUP]
Get excited!
We are pushing Karkarook Park to Monday the 18th of March. Make sure to wear old clothes as you may accidentally fall in the lake. Fishing will be available all night if you’d like to bring your own gear.
We are also inviting all of our 5th/6th families to come down and participate/have a chat with other parents and leaders!! There will be BBQ at 7pm for those who attend.
The entire group is invited and we hope you and your families can all make it down on Monday the 18th.
Bring: A change of clothes and a towel
When: 6:00-7:30pm (Joeys/Cubs), 6:30-8:30pm (Scouts/Venturers/Rovers), Monday 18th of March

RUN for the KIDS

Supporting THE ROYAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL Good Friday Appeal
We need a lot of volunteers – please help !
Herald Sun & Transurban sponsor Run for the Kids supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
It’s SOLD OUT with 15,000 runners doing the 14.4km distance & going through our drink station at 10.5km !
It’s a FUN RUN & runners are invited to ‘dress to impress’.
Volunteers add to the colour & fun by dressing as a favourite character, donning a tutu, a crazy hat or wig !
What get up will you wear ?
There will be music for us & the runners !
It’s a VERY BIG event, so please register.
Bring your family, friends & neighbours to all help out, it’s our penultimate fundraiser this season !
A light snack is provided to volunteers.
When: Sunday 17 March, 6:30am – 12 noon
Where: adjacent the rowing sheds on Boathouse Drive in Alexandra Gardens on the Yarra River.
What to bring:
> a sun hat
> T-shirt supply is not clear yet so please:
1. Bring your red or yellow RUN for the KIDS volunteer T-shirt &/or your blue O2EVENTS shirt
2. And in case new Nike shirts are available when you register
> advise T-shirt size (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) if required
