When: Sunday October 18, 10:00am- 12:00am.
Where: Start and finish at the 9th Caulfield Scout Hall – Ricourt Avenue Murrumbeena
Details: Jamboree on the Air -funny name, funny event. JOTA is an annual day for members of the World Scout Movement to talk together on amateur radio. This is infinitely more interesting than it sounds, and could be almost as good as Minecraft. You will get to talk to Cubs all over the world. There will be some great activities such as using radio direction finding equipment and building a radio.
You will earn your Codes and Signal badge and a JOTA badge that will be rarer than the JOTT one.

Optional: Moorabbin District Radio Group will be open at the Combined Clubs Complex, Turner Road Highett if you want a detailed look at an Amateur Radio station
Bring: A gold coin donation if you want a sausage at the end.
No PIR required.
Dress: Full uniform -shirt & scarf.
