And with that, Scouting has come to an end for 2025!!! What a fantastic year it has been for the group with incredible events happening each week and each term!! We cannot be more grateful for the incredible youth members we have and you should all be proud of the achievements they have accomplished this year. From Grey Wolf’s, to Australian Scout Awards, to all those who were invested and all those who attended their first ever camp, we cannot be more proud of you all.For the parents, thank you so much for all the effort you put into this incredible Scout group. We could not do this without your help from driving to and from camps, the early morning triathlons and the consistant bugging from your Scouts that insist they have to get down to the hall early to set up!! You are the driving force behind your Scouts love for the group and we are incredibly appreciative of all of you!!As always, we’ll be back at the hall next year for another enthralling year of Scouting. We have Group Camp, Cuboree, NZ Adventure, Ski Camp, TFR and so many more camps and adventures to go on, we CANNOT WAIT!!!! For those that are eager to get involved, make sure to message your Leaders to see what you can do on the holidays before we start back again in 2026!!!Startup dates 2026:Joeys - Monday 2nd FebCubs - Monday 2nd FebScouts - Tuesday 27th JanVenturers - Tuesday 27th JanRovers - Ongoing (message to find out)One final thing before you go enjoy your well deserved holidays. Thank you all for attending the hike, we could not be more proud of the Scouts and Venturers that attended!!!If you are unaware, we have had to call off our 5 day trip to the Wilson’s Prom as we had 59mm of rain overnight and everyone’s tents, sleeping bags and sleeping mats were soaked. Luckily we all made it out alive and with our spirits held high!!A massive thank you to all parents/guardians who helped out last night in unpacking the trailer and setting the tents to dry. Without your help us leaders would’ve been stuck there for hours!Thank you again to everyone who came along and to those who helped clean up!!
