[Cubs] Olympic Camp 26-28 Aug

Dear Cubs from 1st Central Moorabbin, 5th Caulfield, 12th Caulfield, 5th /6th Central Moorabbin,

You have been invited to join your leaders on an Olympic adventure to Gilwell Scout Camp.

We have decided that on Friday 26th August until Sunday 28th August we are going have our own mini Olympics and we need the Cubs to help us. We have been lucky to secure a camp site at the mini Olympics village where we have a warm and dry place to stay, however for those cubs who are thinking of attending Cuboree in October 2017 you will be staying in tents. Some of the activities we will be doing are archery, gauntlet, flying fox.

We will be traveling to and from camp via cars so we will be looking for parent’s assistance with transport.

The fee to join this trip is $90.00 to fund all of the Gold Medals, food, equipment and accommodation required.

We will be leaving from 5th/6th King George Scout Hall ( behind the traffic school), East Boundary Road, East Bentleigh at 7.00 and returning on Sunday at 3.00. Full uniform must be worn to and from camp. Attached is PIR, Kit list.

PIR must be brought with you on Friday 26th August, if you forget your PRI you won’t be joining us for camp

PLEASE NOTE THE ONLINE REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED WITH A YES OR A NO. SO EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT ATTENDING YOU STILL NEED TO REPLY DON’T FORGET TO TICK ONE OF THE TRANSPORT
